What should I expect when I attend a worship service?
We believe that God-honoring worship includes theologically rich music, prayer, and sound Bible teaching. Our purpose is not to impress or entertain man, but rather to exalt God. And of course, you should expect friendly people who will make you feel at home.
What should I wear to church?
The Bible teaches modesty in our dress for all occasions (1 Tim. 2:9-10), but we don’t pressure anyone to “dress up” for church. You will see anything from ties and dresses to slacks, jeans and polo-style shirts.
Is there something for my children on Sunday morning?
Absolutely! We have Children’s Worship 2-3 Sundays per month. On those days children will join parents in the Worship Center for a time of singing and prayer and then be dismissed for snacks, a Bible lesson and a fun craft. We offer a nursery for younger children every Sunday.
I’d like to go deeper in my spiritual walk. Are there any small groups offered on Sunday?
Great question! We offer small group Bible studies for all ages of children and adults on Sunday mornings at 10:00. These groups are led by volunteers and are great opportunities for you to learn, grow and fellowship with other believers.
Are there other activities besides Sunday?
Glad you asked! We have a very active Wednesday night program. Adults meet in the Worship Center for a casual time of prayer and Bible study. There are age-grouped classes for children which includes music and a Bible lesson. Youth meet for Bible study as well.
What if I have other questions or would like more information?
There are several ways to communicate with us! You can use the email link on this site or call the church office (256.757.5822). The pastor or another staff member will be happy to contact you.
